Heather has designed and programmed a number of store web sites from the very basic to the sophisticated. Heather's dynamic store interface ties into a customizable e-commerce shopping cart. It gives you the ability to upload categories of products and products to the site on the fly. It can include a gift registry as well as a product search. 2010 PROJECTS
ChappyWrap Heather first redesigned the chappywrap.com site in 2006 adding a custom content management system. In 2010 chappywrap changed its logo and graphic branding (the new logo, photography and graphic branding were done by outoftheboxcreative www.boxcreative.com), which gave Heather the opportunity to redesign it and put in search engine friendly code, keeping the content management system in place. It was important for them to be able to add new products and update existing information. They also can update their front page content from home, to keep it fresh. Patagonia Sur, LLC The graphic design of this site was done by Alley Moore of Mooreworks.com and Heather did the programming and custom content management system. This is the public site, the site also includes a private members area, investors area and intranet. mollygoggles.com Heather redesigned the mollygoggles.com site with a css backend. Mollygoggles can manage all of their pages, store inventory and wholesale log in through a custom content management system - creating pages and sub-pages on the fly. Heather added new sections and photographs to promote gift giving ideas, wedding and corporate favors, and re-arranged the site navigation to make buying fudge online easier. In 2009, Mike wanted to freshen up the look of the site to celebrate their 30th anniversary, so Heather took the opportunity to convert it to a css layout and add a blog. Granny Jo Products I just redesigned grannyjoproducts.com with a css format and custom content management system. The site is e-commerce and Jo-Ann can add and update products and manage the text on the site. Sand Dollar Designs Sand Dollar Designs is built with a customized version of Heather's enhanced art package, a content management system for an online store front. Susan can add portfolios of jewelry on the fly, have people shop by occasion and update her site copy. Contemplation Marks Writer, poet, teacher and coach R. A. Leslie needed a website that would sell her products and promote her writing and workshops. Heather designed the site based on the illustrations for Rosanne's book and cards. The site has a custom content management system so that Rosanne can add new content and update existing content. Heather converted the design to work with her dynamic store interface, giving Stina the ability to sell work online and to manage her site's content. Benchmark Upholstery Design Studio Elizabeth Ithurburu, the designer/furniture maker behind BENCHMARK Upholstery Design Studio, hired me to design a web site with my dynamic store front interface which allows her to add products and workshops to the site herself. She can manage all of the site content, including a "project gallery" interface for posting class and studio images. We just updated the graphic design of the site, and implemented a new flash photo gallery interface that allows Bill to upload images himself to the site. Now you can see the pipes, the manufacturing, customer bikes and much more. If you're color blind or have a child or student that you think may be color blind, this site has a software that may prove invaluable to you. Colorhelper.com is an e-commerce site selling a software to help color blind individuals differentiate colors in maps and charts and other images on their computer screens. Tending Joy - Ingrid Goff Maidoff This site is made with my intuitive website ready for success kit. Ingrid can add products and pages and pages and pages of text on the fly, she can completely manage her home page and navigational elements as well as create access levels (wholesale clients, for example) and have them view different shopping cart options. She can also control the graphic design of her site and change the colors, banners, font sizes and font, background image etc.. on the fly. Slight Indulgence slightindulgencemv.com uses Heather's dynamic store manager and interface so that Scott can update all of the products and manage all of the content on his site. Scott photographed the jewelry himself using a digital camera with a macro lens and lightbox. The main floor offers classic sportswear and fashion clothing, while the basement has everything you could possibly need for skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding: clothes, equipment, repairs and rentals. The challenge was to create three different graphic designs, each one reflecting a facet of the store, while maintaining a geometric similarity. They also needed to be able to update ALL of the content themselves, on the fly.
