Heather and Alley first collaborated on a website together in 2009. Alley does the graphic design of the site and the separate page layouts, and Heather programs the site and creates the custom content management systems. Heather is married to Alley's brother and they live next door to each other, so it makes collaboration very convenient.
Founded in 1990, the studio provides graphic design services for print and digital media, architectural sign systems and museum exhibitions. Mooreworks specializes in communications design, providing visual solutions that make complex information clear, aesthetic, well-crafted and useable. The studio works with companies, institutions, universities and colleges, publishers and museums.
Alley Moore is principal of Mooreworks. He founded the company after graduating from Yale University with a MFA in graphic design. He has 15 years of professional experience and an educational background that combines graphic design with writing and editing. His work has been exhibited at the American Institute of Graphic Arts, selected for publication, and awarded the gold medal by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
