Being found by the search engines is crucial to online success. Having a blog is a great way to have your material indexed by search engines. Although blogs don’t offer all of the functionality of my custom content management systems, they do have the ability for you to post content on the fly, and they are very search engine friendly.
I want my clients to have the benefits of blogging, so I am learning everything that I can about it. I have set up my blog with the Thesis theme, and have learned how to customize the theme with “hooks”, custom functions and custom styles. I have purchased a developers license with Thesis so that I can create blogs for my clients using the Thesis theme.
